Well you're not wrong, but there is so much more to find out about this British multinational corporation whose name JCB now appears in the Oxford English dictionary as defining a mechanical digger or excavator “. On their renowned JCB Factory Tour at their headquarters in Rocester, Staffordshire (lasting approximately 2.5 hours) you can get an insight into all aspects of this universally renowned business.
Upon arrival at their impressive head-quarters location you will be greeted with refreshments and a presentation in the JCB Theatre followed by a personal tour of the “Story of JCB” exhibition and the on-site shop.
Moving on to the factory floor you will get to see the step by step building of the famous Blackhoe Loader Machine from sheet metal to the finished product.
Your visit to the factory also includes a tasty 2 course lunch. This offers a unique dining experience in JCB's VIP Hospitality Suite with seasonal dishes created by their Head Chef, Alastair Rowe, using the organic produce sourced from JCB's sister farm, ‘Daylesford Organic’.
