Buckingham Palace

The 2017 summer opening of the State Rooms at Buckingham Palace features the special exhibition Royal Gifts.

The exhibition will tell the story of Her Majesty The Queen's reign through a wide-ranging display of official gifts presented to her during the past 65 years. With gifts representing every continent, including those from world leaders such as former US President Ronald Reagan, former South African President Nelson Mandela and President Xi Jinping of the People's Republic of China, the exhibition will present a spectacular display of craftsmanship from across the globe.

All our visits to Buckingham Palace include the State Rooms. Our ‘Royal Day Out’ also includes admission to the Queen’s Gallery and Royal Mews. State vehicles are housed and maintained at the Royal mews including the Gold State Coach, which has been used at every coronation since that of George IV in 1821. The Queen’s Gallery at Buckingham Palace is a permanent space dedicated to changing exhibitions of items from the Royal Collection.

Those looking for a little retail therapy have the option to spend time in either Knightsbridge, Covent Garden or Piccadilly along with visiting the palace State Rooms.

For a truly luxurious day why not add an afternoon tea at either The Ritz or The Savoy Hotel .
